We are Galactic Wax. (or GWAX if you are into the brevity thing). We're a new vinyl record pressing plant that will be launching in Northern California in the summer of 2023. We have been on a lifetime journey with vinyl, and now a 2 1/2 year launch sequence that will commence with the liftoff of our Viryl™ presses this year.
Join us on the journey! Follow us on social, or reach out to GWAX Mission Control...all systems are go.

  • WE LOVE VINYL!

We've been addicted to records from the jump. From our parents' collections, to the 45s and LPs bought with allowance... yep, some of us are old (wise) enough to have bought vinyl as kids in the 70s! It stuck with us thru the years and powered our clubs, events and our living rooms. With thousands of records collected by the members of our group - we have been immersed in vinyl as consumers, collectors, dj's and musicians. Now obsessives of the highest order about pressing and record production, it is a dream come true to be part of the process of "puttin' it on wax"!

  • GWAX MISSION CONTROL

Our mission control staff has formed around the launch, all bringing unique skills - designers, djs, musicians, a tech GC, recruiter & F16 mechanic, sales, mechanical & hvac, (even a vet tech turned press pilot). All friends from high school & college, reforming their collective decades on, to launch the latest in pressing tech into orbit from Northern California this year.

  • VINYL HEARTBEAT

One of our goals is to be good stewards of our community and industry - so many have helped us to learn and grow along this journey! We feel very fortunate to be a part of this growth industry and the amazing people that power it. Another of our tenets is charity and volunteerism, and we'll continue to work and lend a hand in our community and fundraise for those less fortunate than we, both close to home and across the galaxy.
